Is Harry Styles A God?

Fans have upped their game lately. 

Swifties caused an earthquake (okay, seismic event) in Seattle. 

And the Beyhive was blamed for inflation in Sweden. 

It was even claimed by Kaitlyn Tiffany, in her book “Everything I Get From You”, that One Direction fans basically created the internet. 

So, what’s powering the rapid rise of fandom?

Well, it might have something to do with the fact that most young people aren’t very religious.  

In fact, Gen Z is the most secular generation to have ever lived. 

In place of traditional belief systems, they’re searching elsewhere and finding a sense of belonging in fandoms. 

So, is Harry Styles a god?

Well, that depends on who you ask. 

If Harry stans find deep meaning and purpose in their devotion to the pop icon — who are we to argue?
